This week, I had the opportunity to interview one of our new up-and-coming swimmers, Celia Campbell. Campbell is making a splash this year, breaking several National Records including the 9 year old 11-12 girls 100m backstroke record previously held by Jade Thompson.
Campbell has been swimming since she was 3 years old, entered her first competition at the age of 4 and has been winning ever since. When asked how she does it, Campbell mentioned that she doesn't try to win, she only tries to do her best and outdo herself. She also mentioned that her inspiration is her sister, Leslie Campbell, who is also a swimmer.
